FAQ

What is Your Shipping Policy?

USA: Our shipping is a flat rate of $7.00 for all USA orders.  So whether you purchase 1 item or several items, it's just one base rate.  Most orders will be processed and mailed within 1-5 business days of placing your order - excludes weekends, holidays and custom requests. *Some flat rate shipping price exceptions may apply, such as... select custom orders, special shipping requirements, etc.  USPS is our main delivery carrier. On occasion we may use FEDEX or UPS at our discretion.

INTERNATIONAL:  Our default shipping price is calculated at the International max weight cost. So if your ordering a much lighter product selection we will refund you the shipping/handling overage that you paid (anything over $1 in excess) once your order ships. (ex: you paid $25 shipping and the actual shipping cost is $15.50, then we will refund you $9.50).

What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns, exchanges or issue refunds. All of our products are freshly handmade to order just for you. Therefore, please be aware that all sales are final and cannot be exchanged or returned. We ask that you please select your products carefully. Orders are entered into our system the day after you order, and processing begins. If you have received a shipping notification, then your package has already been processed and cannot be cancelled.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards registered within the U.S or Canada, PayPal and checks or money orders. For check orders, we will hold your online order until your payment has reached our offices. You can make a check or money order in U.S. funds only, payable to Rae Bath & Body Delights and mail to our address.  If you are using a pre-paid gift card (such as a Visa gift card), then it must be registered on the card issuer’s website for us to be able to accept payment.

What is the shelf life of soaps containing fruits, vegetables and botanicals?

Fresh fruit is a great additive to soap as it adds a ton of beneficial vitamins, antioxidants and moisturizers.  Typically the shelf life of your handmade bar of soap is 9 - 12 months.

To prolong the lifespan of your soap, do not allow it to sit in a dish or container that is bowl-shaped, or that allows water to pool in the bottom.

Instead, be sure to store your soap in a dry place out of the stream of water, and on a draining soap dish. A slatted wood or bamboo soap dish is ideal because it wicks water away from the soap, allowing the soap to dry properly. Alternatively, a “soap saver” (an oval disk with raised nubs) placed in the bottom of your favorite soap dish should keep it high and dry.
